Called the Doctor on monday to tell him about my weightloss results so far, since I started taking Reductil. He had applied for cheaper medication on my behalf, but the National Health Insurance was awaiting results (which I actually didn’t know). So he has now sent in the papers and I should get a letter [...]

I started reading Atkins’ Diabetics Program this spring, and it sounded like worth giving a shot. Told another diabetic friend about it, and now she has lost 10 kg by following the principles 5 days a week. That is so cool! I myself has not been able to follow the principles as persistant with no [...]
Really tired, had happily forgotten all about the 2.900 steps I lacked last nite in order to reach my goal of 10.000 xtra steps a day. At 9:45 pm I remembered and got back out of bed and did the rest of the days steps jogging on the spot. Surprisingly I didn’t loose my breath from [...]

It’s unbelievable how much it helps to write down my thoughts and publishing it on the internet – regarding my weight-loss process. To see my thoughts and promises to myself in printing makes a difference! Today I took the kids and my cousin out for a 5.000 steps walk – to make sure that I [...]

Yesterday my cousin arrived, and he’s planning on staying at our house for some days. For some reason this resulted in so much less excercise – and I’m very dissappointed in myself. I won’t let a house-guest ruin my good period here. So today I’m gonne pull myself up by the hair and get back [...]

When I went to bed last night, I had forgotten everything about the step-counter. But I had a feeling that something was wrong, and it turned out the step-counter was only reading 9.000 steps. So up again and out taking the last 1.000 steps before I could turn in again. So saturdays result was exactly 10.000+ [...]

The third day in a row of 10.000+ steps! I’m actually quite proud of myself. I particually like to walk in the summer-night around 10 pm. Its quit and the air is nice. Today I reached 10.100+ steps all in all.

Highly motivated by my succes with the 10.000 steps yesterday, I got started on todays step-counting. But it was much harder – and that has taught me a few important tips. Like, get started already from the morning – and try to reach half at noon. Today I reached 3.600 by noon, and after supper [...]

The Heart Association recommends that we take 10.000 steps a day. Today I did 10.000+ steps…i.e. all the steps that I normally take within any given day. And on top of that, I did an xtra 10.000 steps. My goal is to reach 10.000 xtra steps a day in order to boost my weight-loss. I [...]
